Just 1.5 kms from the bustling ancient town of Mareuil sur Belle, yet set in the heart of one of the most beautiful of National Forests - the perfect location for enjoying stunning walks, cycling amongst fields of sunflowers, exploring the many forest tracks or simply relishing with a picnic, the peace and tranquility found in this picturesque region of South West France.

This beautiful little bakehouse is the perfect romantic ‘hideaway’ for two! Being carefully redesigned and sympathetically furnished, it permits guests to enjoy all the pleasures of an open-plan, character filled country retreat with the integration of all modern-day amenities. A south facing terrace overlooks the meadow and lakes beyond - the perfect spot to enjoy a good bottle of wine watching the sun go down over the hills. The shaded terrace to the front of the bakehouse is comfortably furnished too and ideal for relaxing in the heat of the day! In the cooler days a pretty Godin wood burning stove creates a warm and comforting atmosphere in the very heart of the bake house.
